October 18, 2014 in the Murmansk museum of local history an Open Day dedicated to the birthday of the museum will be held

During the Open Day guests can visit museum's permanent exposition and temporary exhibitions free of charge:

1st FLOOR
"Birchbark caneworks" - an exhibition of Birchbark caneworks from the holdings of the museum.
"City of Military Glory, City with naval destiny" - an exhibition from the holdings of the Town Local heritage Museum of Polyarny, dedicated to the 115th anniversary of Alexandrovsk - Polyarny and 70th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi forces in the Arctic.
"Wait for Me" - Exhibition Diary Project of the Murmansk museum of local history dedicated to the epistolary heritage of the Great Patriotic War. Especially for the Open Day the exhibition will be updated and extended.
"Polar frontier" - an exhibition from the holdings of the the Murmansk museum of local history, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi forces in the Arctic.
"Windows of "Polarnaya Pravda"- an exhibition of Soviet visual propaganda of the Great Patriotic War.
"Anniversaries of the Victory" - medals, badges, coins from the holdings of the the Murmansk museum of local history, released to the dates of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

2 FLOOR
"Military Murman in works of fine art" - an exhibition of art works devoted to the Great Patriotic War.

4 FlOOR
"The Great War" - an exhibition, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the srart of the First World War.
"Made in USSR" - an exhibition of household objects of the Soviet era.
