The naval Museum of the Northern fleet was opened in October 16, 1946, in the house of garrison Officers' Club.
At this Museum, housed in ten halls with a total area of 1200 sq.m, materials reflecting the history of the Northern fleet from its creation to the present are exhibited.
In the Museum there are more than 65 thousand exhibits: a collection of model ships, personal effects of prominent figures of the fleet, photographs and documents, maps, works of fine art.
